Is Zoom teeth whitening safe ?

Numerous scientific articles have shown that using hydrogen peroxide to whiten teeth is effective and safe. It has also been thoroughly studied, tested and found safe by university researchers. The Zoom teeth whitening treatment has no adverse effect on existing restorations (fillings or crowns etc), and does not rub away, soften, damage or weaken the enamel tooth structure. As with any tooth whitening product, Zoom! is not recommended for children under 18 years of age and pregnant or lactating women. Will it hurt and are there any side effects?

Some people will experience temporary increased tooth sensitivity to cold during or after treatment. These symptoms disappear within 1-3 days after completion of the treatment. We will give you plenty of advice and fluoride gel to help minimize this temporary sensitivity. No needles or drills are used.
